Today I’m back in Osaka where I’m awaiting the morning flight to Ishigaki (yay!). Since the alarm clock has to be set for the killer hour 4 AM I decided to just find a budget place to crush. I found Hotel Sunplaza II Annex (yes, it’s a mouthful), which was just 1-star located 2 minutes walk away from the train station directly to the airport. Awesome!
The hotel looked very clean, professional, staff spoke English and stay included wifi access. The magical bubble broke though when I entered my 6 square meter room. Oh jesus that is tight! I laid down a futon next to my luggage and … that’s it. No more space for you, sir. They also missed the fact there is no spare power outlets, so I unplugged a TV from the only one.
Showering time will be fun, too. There is one unisex shower room on 8th available to the guests. I expect the waiting time to become ridiculous, so I will try really late to avoid the “traffic”. Silly.
Well, but the perspective of having a pillow for a night instead of the airport floor is nice. Good night!
