The day didn’t start optimistically, so in the early morning I made my way up to a nearby McDonald’s to catch up on work. The internet connection there is far better – and they have the oreo flavoured McFlurry, which is a good thing, too.

Against the miserable weather forecast, the rainy sky shortly turned into a very sunny day. In fact, it was so hot and stiff that it has been barely liveable and just an hour of skin exposure was enough to overdo the tanning. Regardless, you can have only fun when swimming in the ideal temperature ocean waters with thirty celsius degrees awaiting outside to dry you out.

I swam in many seas and oceans, but Ishigaki’s waters are by far the clearest and most enjoyable waters I have been in. If to believe locals, I have only seen an very average beach in the area, where the most precious and breathtaking parts lay up the north. So I can’t wait to make my way up there! Apparently, this Island is the most famous for excellent scuba diving experience, which I hope to be part of.

Stay tuned.
