First day in the city and already got my hands on iPhone SE that I was trying to hunt down across Japan since Apple has announced it. But that’s not the only impressive bit.

Fukuoka is a city with million and a half habitants. It would normally mean walking sideways on the street, being pushed against the doors in a train and going into a starvation mode while waiting for a free seat in restaurants. Yes, Tokyo, that’s you.

Fukuoka rather feels very spacious, easy going and simple to navigate. They only have a few metro lines to get you anywhere you would like.

It has also been labeled as a student city as it hosts many local and foreigner students in the main university.
