This day was certainly full of fun and surprises. Me and my friends went to two festivals: Asakusa Sanja Festival and Thai Festival, which were held at opposite sides of Tokyo. The weather was great, so the timing was perfect.

Asakusa Sanja Festival is an annual shinto festival where groups of man, women or kids carry around portable shrines called mikoshi. It’s visited by hundreds of thousands people during all three days of the event, so it gets very crowded. Regardless we had fun re-visiting the area during a matsuri.

Quite randomly we found out about the Thai Festival, which gathers thousands of people, who come to enjoy Thai culture, cuisine and music. We eagerly came here to drink famous Singha beer, eat green thai curry and embrace the atmosphere. Since it was located near the Yoyogi park we strolled there for a while, too before every one headed off to home.

Amazing day.
